Lifeguard Service and First Aid Teams in Dubrovnik – Summer 2026

The Lifeguard Service, staffed by trained lifeguards from the Croatian Red CrossDubrovnik City Branch of the Croatian Red Cross, as part of the “Red Cross in the City” project, will begin operating on the beaches of Danče, Mandrač, and Štikovica on 22 June 2026, from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM, and will continue until 15 September 2026.

The beach at Lapad Bay will have two lifeguard stations and will operate from 1 July to 31 August 2026, also from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

First Aid Teams of the Croatian Red Cross – Dubrovnik City Branch, within the framework of the “Red Cross in the City” project, will begin duty on 1 July 2026 at the following locations:

  • Lokrum (2 locations)
  • Stradun (in front of St. Clare's Church and in front of Sponza Palace)
  • Walls of Dubrovnik (Minčeta Fortress and St. John Fortress)

The teams will remain on duty until 31 August 2026.

Working hours:

  • Old Town Dubrovnik: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Lokrum Island: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
