Valentine's Day in Dubrovnik
From February 12 to 15
Dubrovnik once again marks Valentine's Day with a rich and diverse programme designed for both residents and visitors. The programme brings together gastronomic, themed and musical events, further enriching the city's winter offer.
Organised by the Dubrovnik Tourist Board, the Valentine's Gourmet Days event will take place from 12 to 15 February, featuring a total of 19 Dubrovnik restaurants. The participating restaurants have prepared specially designed menus based on local ingredients and contemporary culinary trends, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of gastronomic delicacies and a unique dining experience. The full restaurant offer is available at the following link: Brošura - Valentinovo gourmet dani
An additional part of the programme is the themed tour "In the Footsteps of Love Through the Ages", which will be held on 14 and 21 February as part of the Saturday Winter Mornings in Dubrovnik programme. Dubrovnik is a city full of love stories—whether legends or true stories of people who walked its streets throughout history. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about tragic loves from Dubrovnik legends, romantic intrigues in the works of Marin Držić, forbidden relationships among Dubrovnik nobility, traditional courtship customs on Stradun, as well as the romantic atmosphere of Porporela.
The themed tour will take place on the above-mentioned dates at 9:30 a.m. in English and at 12:30 p.m. in Croatian, starting in front of the TIC Pile. Due to the limited number of participants, prior registration is required via email at [email protected]
or by phone at +385 20 312 011, no later than 5:00 p.m. on the day before the tour.
On the occasion of Valentine's Day, a charity concert will also be held at the Marin Držić Theatre, featuring Jasna Zlokić, one of Croatia's most distinguished music artists. The concert will take place on Saturday, 14 February, starting at 8:00 p.m. The ticket price is €25, and all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Dubrovnik-Neretva County.
