Concert walk

Ivana Jelača, fortepiano

Concert walks entitled The Other Side of History outline Dubrovnik's rich cultural heritage.

Visitors will be introduced to a musical program chosen by the author, pianist Ivana Jelača, according to historical musical legacy and performance practices of the Dubrovnik ladies from the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th century. With special guests, music will be performed on a historical instrument, the original fortepiano by the Viennese builder Anton Walter.

The guidance that focuses on the ambience of Dubrovnik palaces and salons, put contemporary performance in a form that establishes a network of interactions between all the participants in the musical performance; performer and audience, music and space.

Entrance is free and in a festive atmosphere at the Rector's Palace, the visitors can certainly expect an unusual musical experience.

The project is realized with the support of the City of Dubrovnik and the Tourist Board of the City of Dubrovnik, in the co-organization of the Croatian-Austrian Society Dubrovnik and Dubrovnik Museums.
