Dubrovnik Shines on the Global Stage with Targeted Campaigns at Monaco GP, Cannes, and Roland Garros
The Dubrovnik Tourist Board continues to implement promotional campaigns aimed at positioning Dubrovnik as an attractive global destination—not only as a top travel hotspot, but also as a unique location for film and sporting projects.
During the prestigious Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monaco, a geo-targeted campaign ran from Friday, 23 May 2025, until the race concluded on Sunday, 25 May. The campaign focused on the immediate area around the centre of the event in Monaco, resulting in 11,000 unique users and over 82,000 ad impressions.
At the same time, the Tourist Board ran a highly successful campaign during the Cannes Film Festival, held from 13 to 24 May 2025. The campaign was precisely geo-targeted to the Palace of Festivals and Congresses of Cannes and surrounding locations, including Cinéma de la Plage, Espace Miramar, and JW Marriott. This campaign achieved over 469,000 ad impressions, reaching more than 160,000 unique individuals.
Currently underway is a new campaign during one of France’s most prestigious sporting events—Roland Garros. This campaign targets the audience attending the famous tennis tournament, continuing Dubrovnik’s strategic promotion to a high-profile global audience.
