Dubrovnik won many awards in different categories at the Days of Croatian Tourism
As part of the traditional tourist event “Days of Croatian Tourism” which was organized by the Croatian National Tourist Board and Croatian Chamber of Commerce held in Mali Losinj, Dubrovnik and it’s region won numerous awards in differing categories.
ACI Marina Komolac – best middle sized marina
Valamar Lacroma Hotel – awarded in category of congress hotels
The Pucić Palace – best stories hotel
Adila Hebib (Hotel Grand Villa Argentina) – awarded as best receptionist (concierge) in category “People are the Key”
Snježana Venier (Hotel Kompas) – awarded as best housekeeper in category “People are the Key”
Tomislav Majic – awarded as the best tourist inspector in category “People are the Key”
Mario Dabelic, awarded as the best fireman from the island of Mljet
Hotel Adriatic in Orebic – best small and family hotel
The tourism expert from Dubrovnik, Niko Bulić, won the award for the lifetime achievement.
Dubrovnik was also the finalist for the best summer destination and for the best beach.
The Tourism Minister Gari Cappelli on the occasion of the opening ceremony said in his speech: "Croatia is today one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, and to ensure the long-term success of Croatian tourism, we must continually improve. That is why Days of Croatian Tourism, as the largest gathering of stakeholders in Croatian tourism, is a great opportunity to look back on the results, exchange experiences, talk about new ideas and trends in the tourism world. This gathering is also an opportunity to reward those who are an example of the development and quality of Croatian tourism and encourage us all.
