Store working hours
Throughout the year, most shops are open from Monday to Saturday from 08:00 to 20:00. In the summer, the working hours of most shops are extended to 21:00, and in the historical centre of the Old City shops, particularly souvenir shops, are mostly open until 22:00.
Most shops are not open on Sundays and holidays, except souvenir shops and some other shops in the historic Old City centre that are open during the summer months on Sundays and holidays. Food shops in all parts of the city are usually open on Sunday mornings until 14:00. Most shops in the hospital, the airport, the bus terminal, near the Port of Gruž, and some kiosks, bakeries, and pastry shops are open on Sundays.
The open market in Gruž is open in the morning hours, except for flower stands that are open until the afternoon, while the open market in the historic Old City centre closes at 12:00 noon, except for souvenir stands that remain open until later in the evening during the warmer months.
Petrol stations in the Dubrovnik area are open from 07:00 to 22:00, while during the summer they are open until 24:00, except for the petrol stations in Kupari and Komolac that are open 24 hours a day.
