when, a pre-Romanesque church of the 9th to the 11th centuries was turned into the apse of the new building. The stone interlaced motif relief ornamentation built into the external wall of the apse bears witness to this oldest period. The church was restored in the 19th century with a new entrance, a rose window, a choir, a font and a confessional. The triptych of the Madonna with the Saints by Pier Giovanni in its interior was restored in the 20th century.
