Villa Birimiša, an original 19th century old stone house where the Zec and Birimiša families once lived, has recently been restored by their successors, the Bogdanović family and is able to offer a pleasant and comfortable stay on the island of Lopud. It was erected on the coast in the vicinity of Hotel Lafodia, on the village's western bay referred to as Sutiona. The villa offers six 3-star studio flats, each fully furnished and sleeping two people. The apartments are spread two-by-two across three floors and all boast a view on the sea. In addition to a garden lounge and beach terrace accessible to the Villa's guests, at the front of the Villa lays still intact the "mandrač", the ancient dock-bay for family boats. Villa Birimiša is a ten minute walk from the centre of Lopud and its harbour with direct connections to Dubrovnik. The well-known sand beach Šunj located on the islands southeastern bay is a mere twenty minutes away.
