Dubrovnik will host the E1 Dubrovnik GP on June 12 and 13, a race that is part of the E1 World Championship for electric powerboats. After last year's edition was named the best race of the season, organizers are promising another exciting sporting event that will once again bring together world-renowned teams and numerous visitors.

 

One of the organizers, Žarko Knego, said that the program will remain similar to last year's. On Thursday, the boats will take to the course for practice sessions, followed by qualifying races on Friday and the final races on Saturday.

Visitors can also look forward to several new features. The fan zone at Lazareti will be expanded, and all interested guests will have the opportunity to see the RaceBird electric powerboat up close, try a driving simulator, and learn more about the competition itself.

Large video screens will be installed at Banje Beach, along with additional facilities that will make it easier for spectators to follow the action on the racecourse.

This year's championship features ten teams and a total of 20 drivers. Each team consists of one male and one female driver. Additional attention is drawn by the championship's high-profile team owners, including LeBron James, Marc Anthony, Will Smith, Tom Brady, and Steve Aoki.
