The second year of Autumn Music Variety festival consists of four concerts and it brings us a real diversity of the program that takes place in the Rector's Palace Atrium from 30th Semptember to 7th October 2016.

The festival begins 30th Semptember with a performance of the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra and Gadjo Manouche - gypsy jazz band that people know very well from Dubrovnik's streets where they entertain the audience performing pieces by legendary Django Reindhart. The opening concert will be conducted by Croatian conductor Alan Bjelinski and we will hear famous pieces such as "I Can not Give You Anything But Love," "Sweet Georgia Brown", "Vendredi 13", "La Foule", "Blue Drag" and other, arranged by Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra's trumpetist Damir Butigan.

At the festival also performs Jasminka Stančul, superb pianist who works in Vienna, where she plays with renowned Vienna String Quartet. Jasminka Stančul is the winner of the first prize of the prestigious Beethoven Piano Competition in Vienna. At the Festival she will have two concerts - one with the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra conducted by Tomislav Fačini on October 4, when she will perform Piano Concerto No. 2 in g minor, op. 22 from C. Saint Saëns.

The other concert of Jasminka Stančul will be a chamber music with the String Quartet of Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra on October 6. The Quartet and the pianist will perform Dvořák's pieces (String Quartet No. 12 in F Major, Op. 96, "American"and Piano Quintet No. 2 in A major, Op. 8).
