Hrvoje Juvančić: Hommage to Milka Podrug Kokotović

One of the most gifted Croatian actresses of the second half of the 20th century, Milka Podrug Kokotović left a profound mark through her performances, above all at the Dubrovačko kazalište Marina Držića and the Dubrovačke ljetne igre. With her wide acting range, spanning dramatic, comic, and tragic roles, Milka attracted not only theatre audiences but also a great number of film and television directors, achieving notable success and widespread popularity in both films and TV series. Working well into old age, Milka quietly left us last year at the age of 94. This homage to the actress, prepared by distinguished documentary filmmaker Hrvoje Juvančić, will be a warm and nostalgic remembrance of the great Milka Podrug Kokotović, as well as of 20th-century Dubrovnik.
