Miro Draskovic, Director of the Dubrovnik Tourist Board, participated in the international conference and annual assembly of the City Destinations Alliance (City DNA) on sustainable tourism, held in Sofia from April 19th to 22nd. During the panel discussion entitled "The Quality Tourist - A White Elephant of Destination Management," Director Draskovic presented the city of Dubrovnik's activities and introduced the multidisciplinary project, Respect the City.

 

Director Draskovic had the honor of representing our city and showcasing our efforts towards sustainable tourism. His presentation shed light on the crucial role of quality tourism in destination management and emphasized the importance of the Respect the City project in promoting responsible tourism practices.

City Destinations Alliance is a prestigious association of 120 tourism boards, congress bureaus, and marketing organizations of European tourist cities. The alliance advocates for sustainable and responsible tourism that benefits both visitors and local communities, aiming to create better places to live and work.

We are honored to have an opportunity to participate in this esteemed conference and look forward to continuing our efforts towards promoting responsible tourism practices in Dubrovnik.
