The Youth Council of the Diocese of Dubrovnik in cooperation with Dubrovnik Tourist Board invites you to “Nightfever” which will take place in Dubrovnik on Thursday, August 4th, 2016, at Church of the Friars Minor. “Nightfever” will start with a program at 9 pm and it will last until midnight.

“Nightfever” is an international project started in 2005 in Cologne, Germany, following the world youth day. This project was thought of as a night of open doors of the Church, where the people who find themselves in the town that night will be able to have a moment of prayer and meditation. The defining characteristic of “Nightfever” is that the songs, prayers and meditations are led in several languages. During this program young people on Stradun will invite all those interested to come into the church and light a candle.

This project has already been held in over 60 cities all over the world: Rome, Sydney, Glasgow, Munich, Lourdes and Split, the first Croatian city to host this event in 2012. The project was held for the first time in Dubrovnik three years ago. It attracted great number of people and has received many positive reactions by local people and foreign tourists.
