The Dubrovnik Tourist Board is organizing a Flower Concert to mark Earth Day, which will take place on Wednesday, April 22, in the beautiful setting of the Sorkočević Summer Residence on Lapad Bay.
The program begins at 5 pm with the lecture “Man and His Building: Through the Challenges of the Legacy of Petar Sorkočević”, delivered by Relja Seferović from the Institute for Historical Sciences of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. The lecture will highlight the importance of cultural heritage and the challenges of its preservation.
At 5:30 pm, the musical program will continue with a performance by pianist Ivana Jelača, who will perform the cycle “The Life of Flowers” by composer Dora Pejačević, one of the most poetic works in Croatian piano literature.
The atmosphere of the event will be enriched by floral decorations by Kike, further emphasizing the symbolism of Earth Day and the beauty of nature.
