LINE 8A – ELECTRIC MINI BUS FOR REDUCING TRAFFIC AROUND THE HISTORIC CITY CENTRE
In accordance with the City of Dubrovnik's decision to introduce a Special Traffic Regime Zone, a new public transport line has been launched. It connects key points in the immediate vicinity of the historic city centre, operating along the route: Viktorija – Pile – INA (Pod dubom) – Ilijina glavica – Viktorija.
This line is served by a new, fully electric mini bus with a capacity of 22 passengers. The vehicle produces zero harmful emissions, contributing to environmental protection and enhancing the quality of life in the urban area.
With the introduction of this line, the City of Dubrovnik continues implementing measures aimed at reducing traffic in the special regime zone, encouraging residents and visitors to park their vehicles outside the restricted area and use public transport to reach and return from the city centre.
Line 8A is an important part of the traffic relief strategy for the city core and represents the first in a series of planned similar lines.
