This year's anniversary 10th Dubrovnik Winter Festival is bringing a real sensation – a spectacular New Year's Eve performance by the musical legend and one of the biggest stars of the region, Zdravko Čolić, as well as more than 20 concerts around Dubrovnik.

New visuals, new decorative elements and a lot of surprises await, along with a rich music, entertainment, gastronomic and children's programme, which starts once again this year with Santa Claus’ arrival from Finland. Festival preparations have reached the final stage, and promotion is already well underway, all with the aim of attracting the people of Dubrovnik, as well as numerous visitors, to the city under Srđ during December.

Great music names will take turns on the stunning stage beloved by many, the Stradun Street. The Dubrovnik Winter Festival will kick off its anniversary 10th edition with the legendary Croatian band, everyone’s favourite rockers Prljavo kazalište, and for the first time this year Dubrovnik Winter Festival will have a finale to remember – on January 6, 2024 with a Jelena Rozga concert.

During December, the best Croatian and regional musicians will perform in Dubrovnik. Bringing the audience best entertainment with their concerts are Gibonni, 4 Tenors, Tomislav Bralić and the Intrade klapa [klapa is a traditional acapella group from the region], Parni Valjak, Šufit klapa and one of the essential names on the Croatian music scene, Ante Gelo and his band, who will be in charge of the atmosphere on the night before New Year’s Eve, as well as on New Year’s Eve itself and earlier in the day, at noon, when the youngest festival-goers will have their own special New Year’s Eve celebration. Queen Sensation, a tribute band dedicated to the legendary group Queen, will bring to the stage, as their name hints, a truly sensational musical experience, performing the namesake group’s biggest hits right here in Dubrovnik. For fans of electropop, this year's programme brings a unique treat with the mysterious musical duo Nipplepeople.

The Advent on Vojnović, one of Dubrovnik’s bustling streets and main hubs, is organized and financed by the Dubrovnik Student Centre and will feature performances by the Dalmatino group, then Bosutski Bećari, as well as Vojko V, Mate Bulić, Zsa Zsa, Jole, Adi Šoše, Matko and Brane as well as many others, ensuring a great atmosphere during these winter months.

The by now very much beloved children's entertainment spots – North Pole Station in Lazareti, Colourful Winter in Uvala in the Lapad Bay with its train and ice rink, and programmes in Dubrovnik’s largest suburb Mokošica, form the backbone of the festival programme for the youngest, for whom several events by Dubrovnik's cultural institutions are also being organised. Several exhibitions, yuletide concerts, among which the Dubrovnik Christmas concert on 22 December and New Year's concert on Stradun on 1 January stand out, theatre performances for all generations, a Cake Party and many other programmes will spice up the Advent season in anticipation of Christmas and New Year's Eve. A special surprise programme is also being prepared in Gruž in the former TUP factory which will bring interesting, digital, and interactive content for children and young people along with an irresistible accompanying gastronomic offer.

The City of Dubrovnik, the Tourist Board of the City of Dubrovnik, and the Dubrovnik Summer Festival in cooperation with cultural institutions and public companies are preparing a wide range of events for citizens and visitors of all ages. The Dubrovnik Winter Festival, this year's 'round' tenth, awaits you in full splendour!
