INFORMATION FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

In the City of Dubrovnik, people with disabilities who use wheelchairs have full access to the Dubrovnik Cathedral - via the ramp at the southern entrance, the Monastery of St. Clare, the Dubrovnik Cable Car, which has adapted boarding ramps, an elevator for moving around the floors and up to the panoramic terraces, and toilets for the disabled, the Aquarium, the Dubrovnik Art Gallery, which has an elevator, and the Rector's Palace, which can provide a transporter if necessary and with prior notice. A transporter and a wheelchair can be rented from the City Society of the Red Cross by calling +385 20 418 810 or by e-mail at [email protected]

If a person in a wheelchair has an escort who can help them, the Franciscan Monastery of the Order of the Friars Minor and the Sponza Palace are also easily accessible.

The possibility of renting a wheelchair is also possible by contacting Caritas of the Diocese of Dubrovnik at +385 91 323 3925 (Vatroslava Lisinski 13a).

Lifts for people with disabilities to descend into the sea are located at the following locations: Copacabana, Mandrač and Sunset Beach, Veliki Zaton and the islands of Koločep (Donje Čelo) and Šipan (Suđurađ).
