The City of Dubrovnik Tourist Board are once again organizing the Good Food Festival, this year for the seventh time, a gastronomic event for all lovers of good food, which will be held from 24 to 27 September 2020, in accordance with the prescribed measures due to the epidemiological situation.
This year's program will include the traditional Restaurant Week with festival menus, special breakfast offers, wine tastings, sweet festival offer, gastro tours, culinary workshops in Deša, festival stands on Pile, festival summer cinema program with a gastro theme, beer evenings with great street food in the Dubrovnik Beer Company, a concert by the Ines Tričković Sextet: Runjić in blue and other interesting events.

Throughout the festival week, from September 21 to 27, there will be a Restaurant Week, a sweet offer, wine tastings, festival breakfasts and festival stands on Pile. The hard-working chefs of about thirty Dubrovnik restaurants have created festival menus especially for the Good Food Festival at promotional prices of up to 150 Kuna, and you will be able to taste them throughout the Festival Week. And the sweet festival offer is offered by Pastićerija Pupica, Slastičarna Gianni, Pool & Lobby Bar of the Hotel Lapad, Pastry & Cocktail bar Slatki kantun and Kavana Lazareti.
Festival breakfasts are offered by Cele gourmet & lounge bar, Restaurant Orsan, Cafe Royal, The Pucić Palace, Restaurant Stara Loza, Prijeko Palace, Restaurant Sesame, Tavern Veranda, and wine tasting is offered by Škar Winery and Bakus Wine Bar.
Be sure not to miss the workshop of the Deša Association, where a juicy cake made of almonds, citrus fruits and lavender will be prepared. The workshop leader is nutritionist Mirna Sarić, who perfected her food preparation skills at the prestigious gastronomic academy Gastronomicom in the town of Agde in the south of France.
At Deša's workshops, enjoy a tasting of fig and goat curd cakes, a traditional cake from the Neretva river valley, and Lumblija, a traditional dessert from the island of Korčula to which an interesting legend is associated.
In addition to desserts, you will be able to enjoy the slow food delicacies of the Orsan restaurant where a "Fisherman's Dinner" will be held. Dishes will be prepared with locally grown ingredients from villages above Dubrovnik, Gornjih sela, from where this famous restaurant procures all vegetables, fruits, cheese and olive oil.
Also, you can enjoy a themed lunch of the Veranda restaurant called "Dalmatia in my eye" and indulge in some tasty Dalmatian specialties. On this occasion, the traditional preparation of soparnik (a traditional flat pie) will be presented, all with the melodies of Dalmatian songs.
Fast food lovers will also come into their own with Asian street food dishes prepared at the Urban & Veggie restaurant where vegetarians can also find dishes to their liking. Don't miss the offer of delicious BBQ burgers that go great with the craft beer of the Dubrovnik Beer Company.
With all these interesting events, you can choose an interesting film with a gastronomic theme in Dubrovnik Cinemas, enjoy live music or choose an interesting gastronomic tour that will introduce you to the specialties of Dubrovnik cuisine through a walk through the city.
On the first evening of the Good Food Festival, relax with a jazz version of Zdenko Runjić's songs with a concert by Ines Tričković Sextet: Runjić in blue. The concert will be held in Lazareti.
