Theater play - Yesterday, I remembered blue
International cultural Festival Sentimento is the most unique festival in the world that uses music and art for the rehabilitation of persons with special needs and integration of vulnerable groups of society. They contribute and interact as artists and creators, composing music pieces that are performed by world renowned musicians.
This year programme of the festival Sentimento will hold a series of music-artistic events in Dubrovnik starting on June 4th until 22nd of June 2017. The programme will include mentally challenged people, blind people, elderly people in nursing homes and hospitals, abandoned and neglected children. All of the events that will take place during festival Sentimento are humanitarian and the money raised will be intended for the „Unison World“ project, a professional music rehabilitation service for the most vulnerable groups of Dubrovnik-Neretva County www.unison.world

The special guest of this year’s festival is the oldest Theatre of Blind and Visually Impaired people in the world “New Life” from Zagreb, which will perform one of the most successful shows “Yesterday I remembered blue” with English subtitles, taking place in the theatre of Marin Drzic in Dubrovnik on 5th and 6th of June starting at 8:30 pm.
The actor of the Theatre of Blind, Mr. Vojin Peric will also participate as a narrator on the “Concert in the dark” that will take place on 4th of June at the Cathedral, where he will perform together with the vocal assembly of mentally challenged people.
The main concert of the Festival Sentimento will take place on the occasion of the world music day on 20 June 2017 in Rector's Palace when three greatest Croatian tenors Max Hozic, Sasa Jakelic and the host of the festival Stijepo Gled Markos, will perform the most popular tenor arias of all times, accompanied by Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra and under the greatest Croatian female conductor Marija Ramljak, Croatian National Television music editor. Special guest star of the evening is Frano Zivkovic, music miracle child and guitar virtuoso whose talent was noticed by the best world acoustic guitar player Tommy Emmanuel with whom he often performs on world stages. Special guest of the evening will also be one person with special needs who has demonstrated the greatest music talent during Sentimento music workshops.
