FAQ

Making telephone calls

Public phones only accept phone cards that can be purchased at post offices and at newsstands that are authorized retailers.

Information for disabled persons

Access for disabled persons is available to all public and state institutions within the historic centre, and by calling the number 00385 (0) 98 915 2834. It is possible to reserve a transporter for overcoming stairs in the city's museums, churches and other institutions, as well as to reserve a wheelchair. The transporter fits most standard wheelchairs, and if necessary, it is also possible to rent a wheelchair and a van for the transport of persons with disabilities (tel: 020 357 087). The use of the transporter service is free, however if you wish to, you can make a donation to the Dubrovnik Multiple Sclerosis Association. In case you are not satisfied with the service you can contact someone by telephone at 020 425 086.

There is a lift for access to the sea for persons with disabilities located at Copacabana Beach.

A map of the City of Dubrovnik for the visually impaired is available at the information offices of the Dubrovnik Tourist Board.
