You will undoubtedly be mesmerized by the beauty of the islands,...

Dubrovnik for Yachtsmen

coast and sea in the local waters of Dubrovnik.

This is where lovers of this kind of tourism and passionate yachtsmen - participants in one of the numerous regattas which take place in the waters of Dubrovnik the whole year round - will both find a perfect holiday and entertainment. After a pleasant but strenuous sailing trip, a berth in a marina with all facilities will come in handy, whether you merely need to restock with water, fuel and food for the continuation of your sailing, or you are in need of some service. A year-round berth for your boat is available in one of the marinas.

The Dubrovnik ACI Marina in Rijeka Dubrovačka (Komolac) is open the whole year round. It is about 2 kilometres away from the entrance to Gruž Harbour and only 6 kilometres from the Old City. It has 450 wet- and 110 dry berths. The Marina has excellent bus connections with the city centre.

Marina Frapa Dubrovnik is in Gruž bay, along the coast of Lapad, opposite the ferry port Gruž. The marina has 220 fully equipped berths for yachts from 10 to 50 meters and offers a berth for a yacht up to 100 meters.  Each berth is equipped with electricity and water supply. It should be emphasized that Marina Frapa Dubrovnik is the first marina in Croatia which offers the services of emptying tanks on each berth place, so that yachts do not have to move from their berths for this purpose.

Upon sailing into the territorial waters of the Republic of Croatia boat captains are obliged to use the shortest route to the nearest international port of call in order to pass the border control and obtain a vignette at the harbour masters office or a branch office. The year-round border crossing is located at Gruž Harbour, whereas an international port of call is open in Cavtat during the season.

A small number of anchorages/berths mainly for large yachts is available at Gruž Harbour.

At the Orsan Sailing Club, located in Gruž Bay, berths are available primarily for club members.
