The Good Food Festival program includes a variety of events that take place on all four festival days: the Healthy Food and Homemade Goods Fair, Days of Slavonian Cuisine at the Mimoza Restaurant, Afternoon Tea at the Hilton Hotel, the ˝Sights & Bites˝ Gastro Tour, special festival dessert promotions, In vino veritas wine tastings and special festival menus for 100 kuna in 28 Dubrovnik restaurants. This variety of flavours and experiences offers something for every visitor of the Dubrovnik gourmet festival!


The Healthy Food and Homemade Goods Fair that started this past Monday has already seen a large number of visitors, and it brings them back year after year. At the fair visitors can find local, organically grown and traditionally prepared products and they can try and buy homemade jams, honey, liqueurs, wine, cheeses, prosciutto and many other homemade products. The Days of Slavonian Cuisine at the Mimoza restaurant during all four festival days are a chance to indulge in traditional Slavonian dishes according to original Slavonian recipes, with selected wines from the Ilok region, good prices, and the indispensable tamburitza players will create an authentic Slavonian atmosphere.


Afternoon Tea at the Hilton Imperial Hotel promises a relaxing atmosphere and an opportunity to enjoy delicious tea with sweet and salty snacks such as: mini raspberry scones with sweet cream, a selection of macaroons and chocolate cakes, and interesting tea sandwiches: from cucumbers with cream cheese, to smoked salmon and butter, to prosciutto and Dijon mustard. The festival’s sweets offers allow visitors to enjoy delicious sweet delicacies and hot beverages at affordable prices. This is an opportunity to visit some of the city's spots for sweet tooth’s: the pastry & cocktail bar ˝Slakti kantun˝ at Hotel More, the Pupica pastry shop, aperitif bar Natali at the Grand Hotel Park and the Tramonto restaurant at Sunset Beach Dubrovnik.


The ˝Sights & Bites˝ gastro tours are specially designed tours of the City through Dubrovnik’s old town that last for about 2 hours, during which visitors will be introduced to delicious traditional specialties while at the same time enjoying stories about the fascinating history of Dubrovnik. In small groups, participants will visit several places to try food, including three top Dubrovnik restaurants that will offer appetizers, a main course and dessert. Wine tastings at Dubrovnik wine bars - In vino veritas, will be offered at four Dubrovnik wine bars that have prepared tastings for wine lovers during the Good Food Festival. The Matuško wine bar, Gatsby wine and food bar, Razonoda wine bar and Škar wine bar have prepared special offers of red, white and sparkling wines with accompanying snacks.


The 100 kuna festival menus have already become a tradition of the Good Food Festival and an indispensable part of the program. The hard-working chefs of thirty Dubrovnik restaurants have specially created menus for this festival at a price of 100 kunas. The participating restaurants are: Azur, Banje Beach, Oyster & Sushi Bar Bota, Chihuahua Cantina Mexicana, Dalmatino, Domino, Gatsby wine and food bar, Arsenal, Incredible India, Jezuite, Klarisa, Lajk, Magellan, Marijin Dvorac - Grand Hotel Park, Beach bistro Miramare - Hotel Valamar Dubrovnik President, Moskar, Nishta, Orka, Orsan, Pantarul, Porat, Rozario, Ruzmarin, Stara Loza, Taj Mahal - Hotel Lero, Taj Mahal – Olc City, Tavulin and Zuzori.


The Dubrovnik Tourist Board thanks all of the restaurants, wine bars, hotels and other establishments that have supported and greatly enriched the festival with their participation. We especially thank the restaurants Mimoza, Kantenari and Porat and the Hotel Rixos Libertas, who are hosting certain festival events on their premises and whose employees will contribute with their knowledge and skills. We also thank our partner Electrolux for use of their mobile kitchen, as well as the Deša Association, the Marin Držić House, and the Dubrovnik Tourism and Hospitality School, all of whom have in many ways participated in the festival program for years.
